Welcome to the Great Lakes Region!

The Great Lakes Region encompasses all of Ohio north of Columbus, mainly the cities of Cleveland and Akron. It is home to 21 esteemed chapters: Amherst Steele, Archbishop Hoban, Avon, Beachwood, Berea, Christian Community, Findlay, Hawken, Hoover, Johnstown-Monroe, Maumee Valley Country Day, Medina, Shelby, Solon, St. Vincent – St. Mary, Trinity, Village Academy, and Western Reserve Academy. The Great Lakes Region proudly calls itself home to the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the Ohio River Valley, as well as the two largest chapters in the state. Past GLR Events have included annual miniconventions at several of our chapters and the regional one-day conferences at Case Western Reserve University.

The Great Lakes Region posesses a great wealth of talent and political aptitude. Some of the state's best debaters, moderators, and logistics personnel live in the GLR. Let's continue to make our region ever-stronger!
