Spring State

“Democracy is not a Spectator Sport!”  Every April, the Ohio River Valley State puts this phrase into action by electing their student leaders for the following school year!  Spring State is the last overnight convention of the year and is one in which enthusiasm is at its peak!  The ORV has its Spring State in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio State House and some of the best and brightest JSA-ers campaign to lead the state for the following year.  It is an amazing experience accompanied with excellent debates, intelligent thought talks, and thought provoking solution sessions.   The excitement mounts as some of the best and brightest JSA-ers campaign for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Great Lakes Region Mayor and Vice Mayor, and Ohio Valley Region Mayor and Vice Mayor!
