In February, delegates from the Ohio River Valley State, along with the Midwest and Florida Territory, have the unique opportunity of traveling to Washington D.C. and acting as Senators and Representatives. It is their turn for their voices to be heard on issues that matter to them, whether it be on Iraq or income tax reform, the floor is theirs to discuss.  Each day presents a new and wonderful opportunity for our students to explore the nation’s Capital.

On Friday, students travel to the heart of D.C. to hear from excellent and informed speakers!  The following day they are provided with the opportunity to go on a “Moonlit Monument Tour.”  In addition to these activities, students dabble into partisanship by opting to be whips and chairs of the Republican, Democratic, Socialist, or Libertarian Party.  It is an incredible chance to debate, discuss, and lobby for your beliefs!  I hope to see all of you there.  Please remember that Registration, as well as Bills, are due no later than January 15th.
