  • They will be able to feed off of each other and host mini-conventions, debates, and different activities just among the three chapters
  • They will be able to support each other in expansion, fundraising, activism, etc. by discussing ideas and working together
  • Will help to entice members because it will give them the opportunity to make lasting friendships with JSA members from other schools near them

Active Activism

  • There will be a suggested project of the month put out by the Activism Department
  • There will be at least one activism project carried out during each of the three major conventions and will be advertised in advance

  • During Winter Congress: will make sure the highest quality bills are chosen to make sure debate in Senate and House committees are their best, reform Full House/Senate to make sure bills are debated in the sake of debate and not in the sake of time, and make sure all Chairs and Clerks are thoroughly trained so they are able to do a wonderful job
  • A monthly newsletter, available online and through e-mail, on top of the Muckraker, will be published highlighting events in the state and highlighting what different chapters have done, giving everyone an insight in what is being accomplished around the state

The Resolute Consortium

  • All members in JSA will be encouraged and given the opportunity to apply in cabinet, a.k.a. the consortium, and participate in state and regional activities
  • During the summer, and then in every school quarter, all directors of their respective departments and mayors and vice mayors will be required to give their detailed plan for the next few months and to give feedback on what was accomplished in the past time and how to improve it
  • All directors of departments, mayors, and vice mayors will discuss their bi-weekly activities and how to improve them with everyone on cabinet which will give everyone the ability to stay involved and keep cabinet ever improving
  • A variety of cabinet meeting and conference calls will give all those on cabinet to stay involved and provide their fresh ideas

~Niraj believes that chapter strength is vital to make a strong state. He also believes that in order to be an effective Governor, you must know the ins and outs of the most essential units in our state: the chapter. Niraj thinks that the time he has spent in being involved and in leading his chapter has more than adequately given him the experience and knowledge required. The 2007-2008 MHS JSA Chapter does not have one of the highest memberships in the ORV, but the quality of the members more than makes up for it. The members are enthused, active, and passionate for JSA and make MHS JSA an extremely strong and resilient chapter.~
